Tubi: Free Movies and TV Shows

What is Tubi? Free movies and TV shows with the promise of a massive content library have people sitting up, paying attention, and subscribing. Streaming services continue to grow in popularity as cord-cutters find new ways to watch their favorite Hollywood movies, television, and entertainment. Does the already crowded streaming service platform need yet another contender? With Disney+ in the picture and quickly building a subscriber base, it shows that people are hungry for great content and will subscribe for the right price.

With free online movies and TV shows, streaming service Tubi captures the market’s attention. But is it really free? Yes, it is. Tubi uses an ad-supported model so that subscribers can leave their wallets closed. Based on a recent press release, Tubi offers some eye-opening statistics:

  1. Monthly Active Users (MAU) grew to 33 million in August – an increase of 65% year-over-year.

  2. Surpassed 200 million hours of Total View Time (TVT) in April, and TVT has been above 200 million hours each month since – averaging a 104% increase year-over-year.

Tubi is thoroughly invested in this venture. On The Wrap, author Tim Baysinger reports Fox Buys Ad-Supported Streaming Service Tubi in $440 Million Cash Deal.

Numbers show their commitment along with their continuing effort to ink deals and expand their massive content library. Erik Gruenwedel writes (Media Player News) that Tubi Inks NBC Universal Catalog Deal.

Tubi’s Content Library is Worth a Look

With an extensive library of free online movies and TV, no registration required, and no subscription cost, there’s a new game in town. As household budgets are tightened everywhere, this offers another opportunity to enjoy entertainment in a 100% legal manner.

They are easily accessible and offer their service on multiple supported devices. Being easy to locate and easy to use, Tubi makes it simple to get started. With respected names in the entertainment industry and content from companies such as Paramount, MGM, WB, and LIONSGATE, they offer more than 20k movies and TV shows.

Another reason to consider Tubi is their personalization engine, which offers recommendations. No more endlessly sifting through titles, hoping to find the right show. Tubi’s ability to deliver high-quality content at no cost to the subscriber is a win-win situation.
